Patios SydneyOften referred to a inner courtyard. A patio is generally an area with or without a roof in the back yard
The word “patio” is a Spanish word that originally referred to a roofless inner courtyard. Whilst it is very similar to a verandah, a patio is often referred to the back part of the house where as a verandah is often referred to the front. A patio is often an area adjoining a house in the backyard that is roofed and sometimes has walls, depending on its use. Often a patio is an enclosed outdoor area for the family gathering with table and chair and roofed BBQ area. Sometimes modern homes have outdoor patio’s with full integrated outdoor kitchens and give the sense of bringing the indoors, outdoors.
In Australia patio’s are extremely popular, especially in contemporary homes that have an outdoor alfresco extension to the home for the family to enjoy. See below some examples of work we can do.
How our Patio solutions in Sydney can save you money
We came to Solarguard because we were looking for a local tradesman to build our backyard awning. Mark and his team did a fantastic job and we could not be any happier. Everything went to plan and we cannot recommend them enough. Thanks a million!Mark Hamilton
I am giving this testimonial as we are more than happy with the work done on our property. We actually had another person start our backyard pergola but never finished it, we had so many issues. Mark came to the rescue. Everything was finished perfectly.Margaret Jones
